About Us
Brad and Melissa Yahn are the owners and operators of Impact Automotive. The shop has been part of the Yacolt community since 2009, and in 2017 Brad and Melissa stepped in with a vision to build something different. Brad had already spent years in the shop as a Master Diesel Mechanic and Advanced Level Specialist, and together they saw the opportunity to create a business rooted in trust, connection, and service.
What started as one location has continued to grow alongside the community. In August of 2025, Impact Automotive expanded with a second location in Battle Ground, allowing the team to serve even more families and businesses across North Clark County.

Brad’s passion for mechanics started young, working on anything he could get his hands on. Melissa grew up around the automotive world and brings a deep understanding of people, service, and business. Together, they have built a culture where customers are treated like family and employees are valued as part of something bigger.
Outside of the shop, you will find Brad and Melissa spending time with their family, camping, clamming, and supporting their grandchildren in sports, school, and life’s everyday adventures. They are deeply rooted in the community and passionate about giving back.
